When neither of us are working, it is hard not to just play all day. Mike is doing an awesome job looking for a job. I'm amazed how hard and dedicated he is. I'll be teaching some swim lessons for a few hours but mostly just enjoying a break before our lives change forever. That's the beauty of teaching. :)
I love looking up cool things to do around here and we have found some winners!
The US surf open is going on all week with some of the best surfers in the world. We went on Saturday and got some new types of red bull, tons of snacks, beef jerky and candy. The junior surfers were the only ones on that day but they were so good. There was a ton of things going on with bands, surfboard shapers, stores. It was sweet! We are definitely going back next week.
Yesterday we also went to the tail end of the ocean festival in san Clemente. We didn't really get to see a lot but just a few sand sculptures.
I love summer time!
