Trunk or Treat

I have never been a huge Halloween person but I have to admit-I definitely got into this one. We started last week by making these shrunken heads from carved apples left out for a week. They look pretty nasty-but that is the point right?





We decorated the trunk with flying bats, running rats and then lots of bloody candles and things. It looked fantastic
Then we dressed up like Mary Poppins and the Chimney Sweep since I already had the umbrella. This costume cost us 2 dollars too! :) Did I mention we won for best couples costume? Thank you very much.
I have to admit it got me pumped for next year. I already have some ideas brewing.
