We volunteered for Extreme Makeover Home Edition and we got to dig a hole for a tree...a BIG TREE! They originally told us to make it 4 feet in diameter and then 4 feet deep. They kept coming back telling us to dig deeper and deeper and deeper. Pretty sure they were just trying to get us out of their hair, but it definitely worked! It was amazing to see so many people at work. When you volunteer, you work on 6 hour shifts and they bring you tons of waters and other drinks. Sadly we didn't get to see any of the designers but it was good to know when this tree shows on tv-that we dug the hole for it!

That morning, we also decided to go on a little stroll through cascade springs up the canyon. I couldn't get over how clear the water was and how naturally beautiful it was out here!
